Franki Riches – Head Coach

Franki is a UKCC Level 2 Women’s Artistic coach. She recently graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan University with a first class degree in Bsc (Hons) Sport Conditioning, Rehabilitation and Massage. Her dissertation actually focussed on whether core stability training has any affect on gymnastics performance – luckily she found it does! Franki has a good working knowledge of Rehabilitative and Kinesio Tape application and holds a current Safeguarding Children and Young People award. She has a clean, fully enhanced DBS.

Sarah Kemp – Senior Women’s Artistic Coach

Sarah is also a UKCC Level 2 Women’s Artistic coach. Having grown up in the world of gymnastics, Sarah is a former British level gymnast, having competed against the likes of Beth Tweddle in her time. Unfortunately, injuries caused her to retire aged 21, but Sarah had a long and successful career before joining the world of coaching. Her passion lies within Women’s Artistic, and you will also find her coaching at Holmewood House and Bromley High during the week. Sarah possesses a recent Safeguarding Children and Young People award, and has a clean, fully enhanced DBS.

Izzy Woodrow-Clark – Junior Coach

Izzy joined the coaching team in January 2015. She has ambitions to go to university and become a PE teacher, so naturally stepping into coaching shoes was the next step on her gymnastics journey. Izzy still trains with our senior gymnasts in the later sessions, and is a self-confessed forwards tumbler. She will be taking her level 1 coaching qualification as soon as she turns 16!

If you would like to join our coaching team, please contact us at enquiries@velocitygymnastics.co.uk.
